Bald Eagle Mountain sackung

The sackungen of Bald Eagle Mountain are notable because they are the location of a long-term study to decide whether scarps and trenches are the result of tectonic activity or gravitational spreading.

Measurements over a period of 22 years record 8.3 cm of spreading during that period.
