Colorado Statutes
The State Geologist was given certain statutory responsibilities by the Colorado Legislature.
The Legislature also created the Colorado Geological Survey and, through time, statutorily mandated certain activities by CGS. These statutes enable the activities of the Colorado Geological Survey and the State Geologist.
